Information is gold – Give people with disabilities the dignity of informed choice!

If you want to give feedback on a businesses accessibility you can leave a review on Euan’s Guide. This website is aimed at giving reviews and information for users with a disability. Businesses can also create a profile on the site with accessible information.

Any business can take part in the scheme. All you need to do is to share publicly relevant, factual, information about your business including a photo of your premises entrance.

This could include provision of a welcome seat for those who need it, alternative arrangements to serve wheelchair users when ramped access is not possible, or even provision of a quiet space for those who need it.

Not having ramped access doesn’t mean that your business is not accessible. There are more disabilities than for those that cannot walk.
